Patrick J. McGinnis
Patrick J. McGinnis is an executive coach whose practice focuses on growth-minded leaders in entrepreneurial, venture capital, private equity, legal, and corporate settings who seek intellectual curiosity, accountability, self-inquiry, and decisiveness in the pursuit of sustained performance. Patrick has held investing roles at Chase Capital Partners, JPMorgan Partners, AIG Capital Partners, and PineBridge Investments, and has sat on multiple public and private boards of directors, including ibex (NASDAQ: IBEX). He sits on the investment committee of Salkantary Ventures (Latin America) and serves as an advisor to The World Bank on venture capital and private equity. Patrick coined the term FOMO (Fear of Missing Out), as well as the related term FOBO (Fear of a Better Option) in a 2004 article in the student newspaper of Harvard Business School. FOMO has since been added to the dictionary and FOBO has become an increasingly popular framework to describe choice paralysis. He writes and speaks frequently about both terms in the context of decision-making, marketing, entrepreneurship, and leadership. He is the creator and host of the hit podcast FOMO Sapiens and the author of the international bestsellers Fear of Missing Out: Practical Decision-Making in a World of Overwhelming Choice and The 10% Entrepreneur. He has also designed and run workshops on decision-making, entrepreneurship, and marketing for organizations such as Bloomberg LP, Google, Alliance Bernstein, The World Bank, the U.S. State Department, and Deutsche Bank. Patrick serves on the Steering Committee of the Leadership Now Project, a project to strengthen American democracy, and the boards of Bridge USA, a youth-led nonprofit organization that fosters cross-partisan dialogue, and of the Planet World Museum in Washington, D.C. A graduate of Georgetown University and Harvard Business School, Patrick has visited more than 115 countries and is fluent in Spanish, Portuguese, and French. He received executive coaching training from Columbia University.

Danielle Hootnick
Danielle Hootnick is an executive and leadership coach, having spent more than 20 years in venture capital / private equity, private credit, corporate marketing and strategy consulting. Most recently, Danielle served as Chief Marketing Officer at Greycroft, a seed to growth venture capital firm. Previously she was Global Head of Business Development and Investor Relations at Arcmont Asset Management. Danielle joined at the firm’s inception, growing AUM to more than $20B, scaling her global team to 15 and leading Arcmont’s 2019 spin-out from RBC / BlueBay backed by Dyal Capital Partners. Previously, she was an executive at FirstMark Capital and American Express, and a strategy consultant at The Parthenon Group. She scaled these businesses prioritizing human capital, organizational development and as a consummate culture carrier. Danielle received her BA in Psychology from Harvard College, and her MBA from Harvard Business School. She received an executive coaching certification from World Coach Institute and training from Columbia University. Danielle sits on the Advisory Boards of INCEPTIV The June Group and Yellow Brick Advisors. Danielle is an avid runner, skier and decades-long mentor to many. Her proudest role, by far, is as a mother to her son, Charlie, and daughter, Maddie. She and her husband partner together to raise their family in Miami, Florida. Coaching Practice: Danielle's practice focuses on C-Suite executives across a range of industries, with particular expertise in financial services (private equity, venture capital) and with leaders balancing professional/family responsibilities with emphasis on empathic leadership, effective organizational design, accountability, prioritization, and decision-making.

Mitul Desai
Mitul Desai is an executive coach and entrepreneur with a cross-functional background that bridges law, finance, tech, and public service. He has coached startup CEOs, attorneys, private equity professionals, and rising leaders across sectors—guiding clients through high-stakes transitions like scaling teams, navigating investor and board relationships, evolving company culture, and stepping into new leadership roles. His coaching style encourages deep reflection, decisive action, and long-term performance. Mitul began his career as an intellectual property attorney, practicing at top NYC law firms and the pharmaceutical company Merck. Mitul also spent seven years in financial services, first at Piper Sandler as an equity research analyst, and later at Mastercard, leading global teams across product management, data services, and digital strategy. A strong proponent of public service, Mitul served in the Obama Administration as a Senior Adviser at the U.S. State Department, handling public-private partnerships in South Asia. He was the first person to have such a role. Mitul has a B.A. in chemistry and philosophy from Rutgers University and a J.D. from the Boston University School of Law. He is a Board Member of Firefly (CUNY's Public Health Innovation Accelerator) and NAMI-NYC. Mitul has been certified as both a Registered Securities Analyst and Licensed Patent Attorney.
